Perfectly adapted to digital cameras from all the leading manufacturers, it is available in five different versions - each one is flash-primed by means of its fully TTL automatic flash modes. Supported by a fully swivelling reflector system, which also has an extensible reflector card and a diffuser, almost unlimited possibilities are opened up in creative lighting management. The mecablitz 48 AF-1 digital is the ideal, economical alternative to its big brother, the 58 AF-1 digital that received the “Plus X Award - Innovation” and the EISA AWARD as the “Best Product 2007- 2008 - in the category Photography Accessories“. Software updates can be conveniently performed via the internet with the Metz mecablitz 48 AF-1 digital’s USB port. Due to its high GN of 48 at ISO 100/21° and 105 mm focal length, the 48 AF-1 digital is not only especially powerful but also can be used for indirect flash lighting to great effect. A particular highlight is a reflector card that can be flipped out and is integrated into the unit’s vertically tilting and horizontally swivelling reflector. An integrated, flip-out wide-angle diffuser means that the Metz 48 AF-1 digital is even suitable for wide-angle focal lengths from 18 mm.(35 mm format). In addition, the “58-23 bounce diffuser” is available as an optional accessory for indirect flash lighting.
